Course Details
Are you looking to take your Salsa to new heights? Interested in
learning dance skills beyond the usual classes? Want to
experience what's it like to perform?
Then join us for this exciting 3-mth course, where you'll get to
advance your dance ability as well as develop showmanship skills as a
performer.
The syllabus will be centered around an exciting Salsa routine,
choreographed by the Two Left Feet instructors. In the course of
learning the routine, you will be trained in a variety of areas, such
as body movement, spins, shines, presentation, etc., as required by the
choreography. The routine may be made up of partnerwork and/or shines -
this will be determined by the gender make up of the class.
Besides getting to learn exciting new moves, a big part of the fun will
be working with other like-minded and dedicated salseroes, all looking
to dance their best. Friendships will be forged over the challenging
trainings, and the numerous dinners and suppers that usually go
hand-in-hand.
At the end of the course, participants will be invited to perform at
events organized by Two Left Feet, and perhaps even by other dance schools
or organizations, such as SISF. Performing is not compulsory but highly recommended.
Do note that that this course will be challenging and, apart from the
training hours, you will be expected to put aside some time for
practising on your own. We will do our best to get you ready to
perform by the end of the course, and part of that may involve showing
some tough love. However, if you are willing to keep at it, you will
definitely see vast improvement in your dance abilities by the end of
the course, and the experience of performing will be a rewarding
achievement that is yours to keep forever.

Prerequisites: |
Must have taken Level One A, B, C Salsa
and Level Two A Salsa. |

For those who have
not taken Level One A, B, C Salsa and Level Two A Salsa at Two Left Feet but
have learned Salsa at an intermediate level at other dance schools, please
contact us to arrange for a placement appointment. |
Recommended Attire: Dance sneakers or jazz shoes for guys, and
jazz shoes or dance heels for ladies. For clothes, anything that allows
you to move freely. Exercise gear is optional. Absolutely no
skirts or dresses.
