One of the few Salsa schools to be headed by two
lady instructors, Two Left Feet was founded in 2003 by Jean Goh and
Wendy Yee, and has been making waves in the local Salsa scene ever
since. With their emphasis on leading and following techniques, Two
Left Feet has carved a reputation as the school to go to for building
strong foundations in Latin street dances. Their team of instructors
includes Alex Chui, Kelvin Yee, Mary Chin and Jacquelyn Foo.
Formed in 2006, the Two Left Feet Performance Team has performed at various events, including the prestigious
2006 West Coast Salsa Congress in Los Angeles, and the Malaysia Salsa
Festival 2006. They were also one of two teams personally invited by
Jaime Jesus, director of Latin Dance Australia, to perform at the
Sydney Salsa Congress 2007.
This year, the Two Left Feet Performance Team is proud to bring their
unique and elegant style to the Malaysia Salsa Festival 2007, as well
as to the 7th Annual New York Salsa Congress in August.

Feet instructors? |

“First impressions last, and the secret to a
memorable dance is to be able to make your partner feel and look
good...regardless of their level of experience. This shall be a signature
ability of anyone who has invested time with Two Left Feet.”
- Alex Chui, Resident Instructor

“Having danced with some of the world’s best
salsa dancers, I’ve noticed that they all have two things in common
– a great lead and excellent connection. Therefore, my focus is on
teaching the gents the fundamentals of leading and connecting, so
that the ladies who dance with them will feel absolutely wonderful,
and will want to dance with them again and again.”
- Jean Goh, Resident Instructor

“The key to being an irresistible female dancer
is good following. No matter how flashy you are, if you can't follow
well, you won't be pleasant to dance with. Ladies who practice good
following can adapt to different partners and different styles, and
good salsa dancers will find them wonderful to dance with. My focus
for the ladies will be on how to follow the guy's lead well, because
good following equals great dancing!”
- Wendy Yee, Resident Instructor
